One schedule instead of separate bids

Hiring each trade yourself means you become the coordinator: the plumber waits on the cabinet installer, the counter fabricator waits on both, and nobody owns the gaps. We set the order of trades in advance, so each one arrives when the previous step is actually done.

The written scope shows the trade sequence, what each step includes, and what it excludes. If you are still deciding how big the job should be, the kitchen planning guide is a good first read.

Project Types

The trades in a kitchen job

Here is who does what, and in what order.

Tear-out and framing

Selective demolition, plus any framing or drywall changes. Debris leaves on a set schedule.

Plumbing and electrical

Licensed plumbing and electrical work is coordinated and inspected where required before the walls close.

Cabinets, counters, tile, paint

Finish trades follow in order: cabinets, then counter templating, then backsplash, fixtures, and paint.

Kitchen Questions

Questions about coordinating the trades

How scheduling, inspections, and trade handoffs work on our jobs.

Do I need to hire the plumber and electrician separately?

No. We coordinate licensed plumbing and electrical work as part of the job, so you have one contract and one schedule.

What happens between trades?

Each step is checked before the next trade starts. Counters, for example, are templated only after cabinets are installed and level.

Are inspections part of the schedule?

Where the work requires a permit, we plan the inspection into the schedule. Inspection timing depends on the jurisdiction, so we do not promise exact dates.

Who fixes problems found at the end?

We walk the punch list with you and handle items from every trade before handoff.

How do I get started in {C}?

Call (425) 422-5947 or use the contact form with your address and goals. We will schedule a walkthrough and send a written scope.

Is Artbrick licensed and insured?

Yes. Artbrick LLC is a licensed, bonded, and insured Washington State contractor, License ARTBRL*812B8.

Tired of chasing separate trades?
