A scope you can read line by line
Budgets slip when the paperwork is vague. “New cabinets” can mean a lot of things, and so can “electrical.” Our proposals break the job into parts you can check: demolition, rough-in, cabinets, counters, tile, fixtures, lighting, paint. Each part says what is included and what is not.
That makes it easier to trim or add pieces before work starts instead of halfway through. To think through priorities first, read the kitchen planning guide.
Layout, surfaces, and rough-in scoped together — before demo begins.

Kitchen with new cabinets, counters, and lighting
Project Types
How the budget usually splits
Where the money goes depends on which of these is the main job.
Cabinets and counters
Usually the largest share. Material choice and cabinet line drive cost more than labor does.
Plumbing and electrical
Small when fixtures stay put, much larger when the sink, range, or circuits move. We price rough-in as its own line.
Tile, lighting, and trim
Backsplash pattern, under-cabinet lights, and trim profiles are smaller lines, but they add up, so each is listed.

Kitchen Questions
Budget and scope questions
What people ask about pricing, changes, and what the proposal covers.
What is not included in a typical proposal?
Anything not listed. Common exclusions are moving walls, panel upgrades, and custom fabrication, and when they apply they are added as separate lines so nothing is assumed.
How are changes handled once work starts?
We write up the change and its cost and wait for your approval before doing it. Nothing gets added to the bill without your sign-off.
Where can I save money?
Keeping the sink and range where they are saves the most, because rough-in is one of the larger lines. Cabinet line and counter material are the next biggest levers.
Do you price appliances?
We cover appliance placement and trim-out. If you buy the appliances yourself, we list their models in the scope so cabinet openings fit.
How do I get a proposal in {C}?
